Mr. Jonathan Stainback is a 1st Dan Black Belt at Essential Martial Arts in
Greensboro, NC. He has been my assistant instructor for over a year now. In
this time I have developed a profound amount of respect for him. This is
because he has a very teachable and humble spirit. It is through this spirit that
the students and I have been learning from him. Even as a higher rank, I find
myself inspired by his example. His influence on those he comes into contact
with is reflected in the most important area of those martial artists' lives...their
lives outside the school. I nominate Jonathan Stainback because he is not only
the model instructor for the gold club, but he is the model human being for the
gold club.
