Always abreast of time, yet never forgetful of the venerable tradition of orthodox Taekwon-DO, ETA Strive to make sure that its members are reviving the right tuition as well as keeping the ethical & moralistic value of this best liked Art of the country. Although no fever than eight kinds of Martial Arts are widely practiced in Ethiopia, it is Taekwon-DO ITF that has become very popular and being practiced fervently by the majority of people in every corner of the country. Most Ethiopians' affection for Taekwon-Do is deeply rooted and it remained best-liked practice more than any other Martial Arts. When Taekwon-Do first introduced to Ethiopia twenty years ago, tuition was began to be offered rather modestly with few instructors not exceeding five in number. However, remarkable achievements have been shown and distinguished Students have risen to eminent position. When we talk about the history of Taekwon-Do in Ethiopia, we must not always fail to mention Sabum Kiros G/Meskel, V DAN-ITF, the one among those five pioneer instructors who really have made priceless Contribution to the development of Taekwon-Do throughout Ethiopia. Sabum Kiros with 19 years experience in Tackwon-Do, and with good competence with three other Martial Arts including Taekwon-Do WTF, has gone a long way towards building a well cultured community both physically and mentally. Thanks to the efforts of Sabom Kiros and his partners, ETA has come into existence and we have now strong TKD Association which is in full Swing in Addis Ababa, Bahirdar, Mekele, Woliso, Nekemtie, Jijiga etc. The ETA are considered one of the most reliable and well organized TKD groups in Ethiopia. And it is now a member of ITF under the guidance of his Excellency Grand Master Choi Jung HWA.
